Sure — she likes pink and glitter. She has a soft spot for mooses and unicorns. Her spirit animal may very well be a pug. She isn’t your typical accountant, that’s for sure.

But before she could even write in cursive, she had a toy calculator in her hand. In high school, she spent her afternoons as the statistician for the soccer team. Numbers have always been her language — and she speaks them fluently.

Susan is an accounting graduate of the University of Pittsburgh, where she learned to make numbers run in fear. After college, she headed to Washington, D.C., and quickly proved she wasn’t just a pretty face. Her accuracy, discipline, and dedication to “the numbers” helped startups grow, stabilize, and thrive.

In 2010, she returned home to be closer to family and formally entered the world of tax preparation. Since then, more than 1,500 families, individuals, businesses, and nonprofits have trusted her with their returns.
